FIREBLOCK BLOCKOUT® BAL-FZ BUSHFIRE SHUTTERS

In Australia, bushfires have become an annual occurrence; with millions of hectares burnt and thousands of homes destroyed, lives lost and the lives of many devastated. The FIREBLOCK BLOCKOUT® shutter offers the highest bushfire attack level protection for Flame Zone and BAL40 homes.

 

Australian engineered and manufactured bushfire protection for BAL-FZ and BAL40 rated areas these shutters have been tested to the Australian Standard AS1530.8.2-2018 by the CSIRO with aluminium windows and standard 6mm toughened glass.

In addition to providing bushfire protection the FIREBLOCK BLOCKOUT® window shutters provided added security, all weather protection, assist with energy saving and noise control as well as privacy and light control.

We can retro fit these shutters or they can be designed to fit seamlessly into your new build. Motorised with either a wall switch or remote control, they also include a failsafe override operation from within the house in the event of a power outage.

FIREBLOCK shutters are scientifically tested by CSIRO Fire Technology Laboratories a NATA Accredited Tested laboratory, according to Australian Standard AS1530.8.2-2018. Meeting the required Australian Standard for construction of buildings in bushfire prone areas BAL-FZ Australian Standard AS3959-2018 SECTIONS 3.7 and 9.5.1.
